We say just open your door and go.

WWOOF is a worldwide movement linking volunteers with organic farmers and growers

to promote cultural and educational experiences based on trust and

non-monetary exchange, thereby helping to build a sustainable global community.

For the last few years, OZU has opened its doors to WWOOFers and became part of the list of

farms that are scattered all over the world which follow organic and sustainability principles.

In addition to the cultural activities, we also have a vineyard and olive grove

that we try to maintain constantly. We always welcome wwoofers who wish to spend

some time with us, in the rural part of Italy, just right in the centre of the country,

where you get to know our culture and art centre while giving us a hand.

Generally, we mostly need a hand pruning the olives, trimming the vines,

picking the olives, making wine and more.

Come impareremo le cose che non sappiamo?

Come incontreremo le persone che abbiamo sempre desiderato incontrare?

Ci siamo detti: apriamo la porta e andiamo.

WWOOF è un movimento mondiale che mette in relazione volontari e progetti

rurali naturali, promuovendo esperienze educative e culturali basate su uno scambio

di fiducia senza scopo di lucro, per contribuire a costruire una comunità globale sostenibile.

Dagli ultimi anni OZU ha aperto le sue porte ai WWOOFers entrando a far parte della

lista di "fattorie" sparse per tutto il mondo, che seguono principi  biologici e di sostenibilità.

Oltre all'attività culturale abbiamo un oliveto ed una vigna che dobbiamo costantemente

curare e mantenere. I wwoofwers che vogliano passare un po' di tempo con noi,

in un'angolo d'Italia molto rurale, entrando a contatto con la semplice complessità

di quest'area, e con la complessa semplicità del nostro progetto culturale, sono i benvenuti.

Le attività più frequenti che si svolgono qui sono la potatura e la scacchiatura degli olivi

e della vigna, la raccolta delle olive, la vendemmia, e tante altre piccole attività

che continuamente la campagna richiede.
